OPPC PW active membership is based on participation in Circles, mission support, attending PW meetings,
and events. We currently have forty-one members participating in four PW Circles at Orchard Park.
All women, who are currently members of Orchard Park Presbyterian Church, may join and become members of Presbyterian Women.

OPPC Presbyterian Women Circles

The PW Circles, normally conduct their meetings from September through June.

  • Quilters Circle meets Monday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
  • Miriam Circle meets the first Monday of every month at 7:00 p.m.
  • Book Review Circle meets the third Monday of the month.
Hugga Pillows group has disbanded but Amy Smith and a friend have continued to make pillows. In 2021 they made three hundred and thirty two pillows for Riverview hospital. They could use more volunteers to work on this project and
PW supports them with funding for their supplies.

Orchard Park Presbyterian Church PW Circles are incredibly involved in mission projects. We contribute to National PW Missions and Disaster Relief through the Birthday Offering and Least Coin Offering. Miriam Circle supported the OPPC college age students through monthly cards, and Valentine gift cards. Over $5,400 was given to Westminster Neighborhood Ministries, Camp Pyoca, Haiti Mobile clinic and birthing kits, Family Promise (IHN), Fountains of Hope, Cindi Brentlinger Tijuana Orphanage and Caravan. Orchard Park was also given $150 for food and gas gift cards for people in need.
