We hope to see you during our Advent Celebration of Generation to Generation at Orchard Park Presbyterian Church (OPPC). There are many activities that we will be hosting during this Advent Season. We hope to see you worship with us on either in person or online via our website Sundays at 10:00 a.m.
INTERGENERATIONAL ADVENT CELEBRATION: November 27th, at 11:10 a.m. Gather with us for fellowship and snacks in the Lounge following worship. Our theme for Advent is Generation to Generation. One of the ways the church honors the generations that proceed Jesus is through the Jesse Tree. The decoration of the Jesse Tree details stories from the Old Testament; the generational stories that lead us to Jesus’ birth. On the 27th, each congregational home will be provided the resources to create a Jesse Tree and the daily devotional that accompanies each of the stories. Hope to see you there!
2022 SHARE THE LIGHT GIFT MARKET: Starts November 27th
Shop OPPC’s Alternative Gift Market on Main Street. Make donations to the organizations you select, then give cards to friends and family, telling them about the gifts you have given in their honor. We provide the cards!
CHRISTMAS CANTATA: December 11th, at 10:00 a.m. This year’s OPPC Christmas Cantata will feature a piece called Festival of Lessons and Carols, by John Leavitt. After the Cantata, a Christmas Cookie Reception will be held at 11:10 a.m.
CHILDREN’S PROGRAM: December 18th at 10:00 a.m.
Th children’s Christmas Program will be at 10:00 a.m. on December 18th, they will be performing The First Christmas, by Teresa Jennings and Karl Hitmann.
Our OPPC children have been working hard to prepare a pageant to share with the congregation. We are incredibly grateful for the leadership of Rebecca McConnell and Kim Pietranczyk; and for the children who put so much energy into sharing their love of Jesus!
