Thursday Morning Women’s Bible Study Resumes January 30, 2025

Saved: Experiencing the Promise of the Book of Acts by Nancy Guthrie. This is a longer study than we have done in the past–18 sessions—so we may take a short break in the middle. As usual, there is a study guide (much less homework than we typically have – only 9-12 questions per week), weekly discussion, and weekly videos.

We will again be meeting via zoom and in person in the church lounge. We will gather in the (ZOOM) room around 9:45 am (in person also), begin at 10:00, and should be done by 12.

From the publicity about the book:

Nancy Guthrie presents a theologically rich and comprehensive guide through the book of Acts. The book of Acts is set within the larger story of the outworking of God’s plan to save for himself a people from every nation―the story that runs from Genesis to Revelation. Within its pages are dramatic accounts of the Spirit falling, the apostles’ preaching, conflict with Jewish opposition to welcoming in the Gentiles, and the invasion of the good news of King Jesus into the Roman Empire.

Please let Leann Pope (lpope714@gmail.com) know if you wish to attend so that we can send you a zoom invitation, directions as to places where you can purchase the book, and/or get you on the list for in-person attendance.
