Dr Gerve’s new clinic in Cap Haitien, Haiti is progressing steadily. The walls on the 1st floor have been completed and now the ceiling/2nd story floor. The 2nd floor will be completed down the road as we need more space. Currently we need the 1st floor completed enough to move in by March 31.
To complete the ceiling, plywood is propped in place and held up by poles underneath. Rebar is then laid on top of the plywood.
When the rebar layer is completed, the concrete is then hauled up, mixed, and applied.
