Fascinated with creating art since she picked up her first crayon as a toddler, this native Hoosier loves to see a blank piece of paper come alive with color and light. Whether the tone of her painting is representational, impressionistic or abstract, the goal is the same- to capture a moment in time and the emotion tied to that moment.
A signature member of the Watercolor Society of Indiana, Deb has taken classes/workshops with Sandy Ezell, George James, Gerald Brommer, John Salminen, Don Andrews, and many other fine artists. Each of these artists has provided wonderful inspiration as well as instruction.
Her works have been exhibited at the Five Seasons Studio , Gallery Forty-Two and Brown County Art Gallery, as well as several membership shows. Two of her works have been displayed at Newfields in juried show exhibits for the Watercolor Society of Indiana.
Deb lives on the northeast side of Indianapolis with her very understanding husband, Mike, and a very cluttered painting area.
