For the second year in a row, one of OPPC’s small groups partnered with the Carmel Youth Assistance Program (CYAP) to provide Thanksgiving meals to local families in need. CYAP serves as an early-intervention advocate for youth ages 3–17 within Carmel Clay Schools who are experiencing challenging circumstances.
CYAP Advocates Melissa Clapp and Maggie Figge identified 19 families requesting support. A group of OPPC couples then purchased and delivered complete Thanksgiving meal packages—including turkey breasts, potatoes, corn, peas, rolls, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, and pies.
The families received the meals with heartfelt gratitude, many offering a simple but meaningful, “Thank you.”
We are grateful for the opportunity to share Christ’s love through generosity and community partnership.
