Dear Friends,
Merry Christmas Eve! I hope you are all doing well and staying warm. After two years of not getting ill once, and thinking I might have superpowers, I have contracted Covid and feel lousy.
In addition to all of the viruses that are flying around, we are under a winter weather advisory.
I met with a team of elders today and they advise we do the following.
We WILL have in person worship at 7:00 pm tonight. We will have our traditional lessons and carols with the choir, bells and great preaching by Rev. Bob Heimach.
Masks will be available if you so choose.
We will not have in person worship at 11:00 pm tonight or 10:00 am on Christmas Day. Instead we will are sending you two recorded worship services. The first is the beautiful Christmas Eve service we did in 2020 and the second is a the first Sunday of Christmas service.
We hope you can sit in a warm space and worship together.
Here are the links to both services: Christmas Service Links
I’m so sorry and sad I will not be with you tonight.
I pray you feel the love of Christ being born you this holy night.
Joy to the World the Lord is Come!
Peace and God Bless,
Shelly
