Food Relief Campaign: Helping Those Affected by SNAP Benefit Cuts

Hands4DEI-16x9

This November, Orchard Park Presbyterian Church is rallying together to support those in our community who are facing hardships due to the government shutdown and the loss of SNAP benefits.

Food relief and fighting food insecurity is one of our mission focus areas—and together, we can make a meaningful difference. Let’s join forces this season and share hope, compassion, and nourishment with those who need it most.

Ways You Can Help

Your generosity provides vital support to local families in need:

  • Donate Directly to Local Food Banks:
  • Give Through OPPC:
    • In-Person: Drop your donation in the offering plate with “Food Bank” written in the memo line of your check.
    • Online (Realm): Give through Realm https://onrealm.org/orchardpark/-/form/give/now by selecting Fund – Mission / Other Under Memo choose CUMC Food Pantry.
  • Grocery Gift Cards:
    • We are also collecting grocery gift cards which will be shared directly with local families in need.
    • Bonus Idea: Consider an Aldi gift card! Aldi is offering a $40 Thanksgiving meal for 10 through December 24. A $40 Aldi gift card is a great way to stretch your giving power and help more neighbors enjoy a holiday meal together.

Thank you for your kindness and commitment to our neighbors.
