As the school year gets into full swing, we have a wonderful opportunity to support children right here in our community. Our Clothesline Ministry provides essential clothing to students in Carmel Clay Schools, and the need is greater than ever.
Last school year, your generosity helped us supply 85 students with clothing. Since the 2025-26 school year began on August 6th, we have already received requests from 28 students, and the requests keep coming!
Having clean, well-fitting clothes helps students feel confident and ready to learn. Together, we can help them be more successful!
How You Can Help
We will be collecting donations from Monday, September 29 through Sunday, October 19.
Items Needed:
- New or Gently Used elementary and middle school clothing:
- Pants & Shorts
- Short & Long-Sleeve Shirts
- NEW Only:
- Socks (all elementary/middle school sizes)
- Underwear (all elementary/middle school sizes)
Simple Ways to Contribute:
- Cleaning out closets? As you sort through your children’s or grandchildren’s outgrown clothes, please drop off any gently used items in the Clothesline Ministry cart on Main Street
- Going shopping? As you purchase new socks and underwear for your own family, please consider purchasing one extra package for a student in need.
Where to Donate: Please place all donations in the collection cart located on Main Street from September 29 through October 19.
