Orchard Park Presbyterian Church helps those in our community through different partnerships, programs and by supporting our blessings box.
Currently we are asking for donations for the Weekend Food Bag Program, Items for the blessings Box, and Gift Cards (Food/Gas for $25.0 or $50.0) If you would like more information about what is needed please see the programs below.
Weekend Food Bags for Elementary Students:
Orchard Park Presbyterian Church have partnered with the Carmel community to address the problem of weekend hunger on a rotating basis. OPPC is responsible for providing weekend groceries for local elementary children the first week of March. The highlighted items are needed. Please bring your donations to Orchard Park Presbyterian Church by Sunday, February 26th and label them Food Bag.
Blessings Box:
OPPC is looking for ready-to-eat items with easy to open lids and boxes – stuff that doesn’t require cooking or mixing with other items. Individual servings items are also taken. Non-sugary cereals, crackers, pop up cans of fruit, Vienna sausages, tuna and SpaghettiOs, raisins, individual snacks, etc. are popular. A need that gets over looked is personal hygiene products. Those include deodorant, feminine products. If you would like to donate to this amazing program for the community please bring your donations to Orchard Park Presbyterian Church and label them Blessings Box. Or, you can put them inside the blessings box.
Gift Cards:
Orchard Park Presbyterian Church is asking for gift card donations in the amounts of $50, or $25, so we can continue to help our community when they call, or stop by, asking for assistance. These gift cards can be from GetGo or any other Gas retailer, Kroger, Walmart, etc. If you have any questions, please reach out to Rev. Trish Lisa at tlisa@orchardpark.org.
