Do You Like Dreaming? Join Ken and Kristin for a Special Class!

Picture1

Dreams are as common and varied as stars in the sky. We daydream on a lazy afternoon. Some dreams are pure nonsense, while others touch on pain points in our past and hopes for our future. It makes us wonder: Does God dream? Does God have dreams for us?

This year, our Advent theme is ‘The Will to Dream’.

Exploring Dreams and Advent

Join us for a special class/Advent workshop/fellowship lunch where Ken, Kristin, and Trish will be exploring this fascinating subject!

  • When: Sunday, November 23rd, immediately following worship.
  • Where: The Lounge.

Expect music, laughter, and engaging discussion as we explore biblical dreams—and maybe some not-so-biblical ones! We’ll ask questions in the large group and share in small groups:

  • Has God ever spoken to you in a dream?
  • What is your dream for the future?
  • What are our shared dreams for Orchard Park?

Lunch and Advent Wreath Workshop

After the Will to Dream class, everyone is invited and encouraged to head to Room 118-119 for lunch and creating an Advent Wreath for home. Please stay for the fellowship that will happen around the table as we eat and we craft together. If you aren’t able to stay, Advent Wreath kits will be available for households to take.

This is a wonderful way to dream along with God and our congregation during the holy season of Advent.

There will be room for all. Please be a part!
