A Joyful Night of Music and Support
On Sunday, November 2nd, OPPC’s Young Adults hosted their first ever fundraiser, “SINGO” to help them on their journey to passion 2026, and it was a huge hit!
The event consisted of 3 rounds including ‘Pop through the decades’, ‘Christmas classics’, and ‘Sanctuary songs’. Participants had to listen to short clips of songs & then try and find a match on their bingo card. While no singing was required, some couldn’t help but belt out some of the tunes! Special shoutout to one of our breakfast clubbers, Laura Muse. 🙂
The breakfast clubbers also threw in 2 rounds of “Heads of Tails”, the tradition coined by Angela Delise herself. Mystery prizes included 4 tickets to the Circle City Sound Holiday show, and special wind chimes valued at $175. The battle for the windchimes came down to Scott Crist and Elizabeth Tocco, but Elizabeth pulled off the win!
Toward the end of the event, Grace Cochran shared her testimony, thanking her grandma, Barb Wood, for inspiring her to serve others and for shaping her faith.
A grand total of $2,880 was raised! Thanks to your generous donations, we are well on our way to passion 2026. The conference will be held this upcoming year in Arlington, Texas on January 1st-3rd. Thank YOU for supporting us so that our young adults can experience Jesus.
Another thank you to our snack sponsor Angela Swenson and to one of our event sponsors—Circle City Sound. Thank you to Tim, Bill, and Randy for helping with the event set up. Lastly, a HUGE thank you to Amy Crist for working tirelessly to get this event up and running, we couldn’t have done it without you.
Dear God, we thank you for those that are doorholders for our young adults so that they can experience Jesus. We thank you for the financial support they have provided and we recognize that we are so blessed. We pray for radical change in our young adults and that this conference would be the start of a fire in them that would burn for you, God. We pray for those in the world that are hurting and that you would be with them. May we be filled with Jesus so that we can serve others. It’s in your name we pray, Amen.
