Last Sunday, October 19th, was a busy and rewarding day for our Orchard Park Young Families group as they put their faith into action serving the Carmel community. In a wonderful display of partnership and service, our families worked with two vital local ministries: the Carmel United Methodist Church (CUMC) Food Pantry and the Carmel Coat Closet.
Our dedicated volunteers assembled an incredible 125 bags filled with essential cleaning products for our neighbors in need.
It is such a gift to partner with these wonderful organizations. These events provide a meaningful, hands-on way to teach our children about the importance of service and what it means to love our neighbors. Seeing parents and children working side-by-side to make a tangible difference is a true blessing to our church community.
